So, this is what I’m doing on today

Working on: Editing and working on the pics from the Storyteller workshop yesterday at the Universidad de Palermo. It was great fun! We used both Legos and Tarot Cards.
Reading: Discipline Equals Freedom, by Jocko Willink. A great primer for self-discipline
Watching: Finishing Narcos 3rd season. No one plays a melancholic badass like Pedro Pascal.
Listening: Nostalgia wave with Cypress Hills. What song was further from your mind to be sampled in a track called “Hits from the Bong” than Dusty Springfields’ “Son of a Preacher Man”? And yet…it works like a masterpiece.

Working on: A new Storytelling workshop for the government and the Palermo University. Stay tuned.
Reading: Squid Empire. A great science book on the rise and fall of the cephalopods as the rulers of the seas.
Watching: Just rewatched The Man From Nowhere. Great Korean action cinema.
Listening: The Pack A.D. Great garage Punk.

So this is what I’m doing today:

Working on: #M6D, which starts next Sunday and the new #Storytelling post
Reading: Rereading Bartleby, the Scrivener, by Melville…one of my favorite stories.
Watching: Oh, boy…just watched Ghost in the Shell, the new version. As a fan of the original (and a very, very commited fan of Cyberpunk) I was ready to be dissapointed. But…I wasn’t! It’s not quite what I thought it would be, but is rather good.
Listening: Sorry, got still RTJ3 on repeat

We return from the depths of the badland
With a gun and a knife in our waistband
Went to war with the Devil and Shaytan
He wore a bad toupee and a spray tan

Working on: #M6D .It will be Huge. HUUUUUGE. More news next week.
Reading: The Memory Ilussion by Julia Shaw. On how remembering and forgetting works…great book for a Storyteller
Watching: Getting ready to watch Baby Driver with my kids. I’ve seen it on my own…soooo stylish it hurts.
Listening: I did listen to Foo Fighter’s new record…and while it’s a great record, and very true to the rock and roll root of FF, I have been coming back to Run the Jewels. Difficult to quote any verse in a public post, but probably one of my favorites is:

What more can I say? We top billin’ it
Valiant without villainy

Burning looting and pillaging

So this is what I’m doing today:

Working on: This page, actually. I bought this great template and I’m trying to customize it into a nice page.
Reading: Rereading Search Inside Yourself. A great book on how they structure Mindfulness at Google. Half case study, half manual; all great!
Watching: just finished Un Gallo para Esculapio. If you want to see a series as well made as Narcos, but Argentine made, you can’t go wrong.
Listening: Blue & Lonesome by the Rolling Stones. Just when you thought that they couldn’t rock you this hard, the Stones come out with this. Yeah, I know, I’m behind the times; today’s Foo Fighter’s new record…but I’ll probably listen to it next week.
